Quote of the day

"Pay no attention to the faults of others,
things done or left undone by others.
Consider only what by oneself is done or left undone.

I find this a true statement, regardless of what personal background or where you come from. I see this in every race, in every culture, in every job and amongst family members and strangers.

Time spent and energy wasted on keeping track of what others do or do not do or say is exhausting. There is not enough time in the day to even get what we personally need to do and work on . Our lives would be so much more peaceful if we only learned to control ourselves and take responsibility for our own actions and our own voice and our own foot print in this world. Do we just go through life in a daze and worry about how we as an individual can obtain happiness or are we more worried about the envious feelings of seeing others as the haves and us the have'nots.

A value and worth of a dollar to some is more then a hundred to others. Ask a movie star or a well off executive the value of their dollar ( is it less then tip money for their bell boy?) Ask a poor child in a third world country the value of that same dollar ( is it worth her education and books and uniform.. is it worth her future?)
Rich Versus Poor. Julio CarriĆ³n Cueva

If we can control our own actions and focus on how we impact our own world around us, the influence may change the surrounding and in turn the surrounding will change to us. If we smile and say good morning to a b** co-worker.. does that cost us any more pain or dampen our mood? If we think bad thoughts towards those "lazy" individuals would it change who they are? There are those "born" to lead and influence the world.. there are those "born" from privedge and the well off. Yet there are many also born from proverty and from the poor. There are those from broken homes and from broken spirit. How do these people differ from the norm. It is all in the thought and the conscious determination to be responsible for themselves and for what they can do. And it is their own power that can help them;  not anyone else.
